      Pros

      Large company leads to some benefits that include: Work on major projects International opportunities Access to technical experts

      Cons

      Mergers of historical opcos has been VERY poor Company only interested in pushing more out of employees for less pay. Past 3 yrs client billing rates have increased 30-50%, personal pay has increase 8%. No coordination between marketing/management from place to place. No defined career path for staff No "fast track" for junior staff (promotions non-existant recently)

      Pros

      Vast resources in multiple areas of the profession. Multiple office locations allow mobility. Flexible work schedule makes work/life balance easier.

      Cons

      Acquisitive growth too fast, and poorly managed. Constant changes in the past decade takes its toll on employee loyalty. Management engage in power struggles. This company is quickly becoming a major bureaucracy.

      Pros

      I was able to move through several roles that interested me as I progressed at AECOM. I was able to work with people around the world and had work experiences I could only have with a company like AECOM.

      Cons

      Project and travel requirements sometime impacted life balance negatively. While I'm aware of efforts to equalize salary inequities the acquisition model has created its been in work for years and its time to get it done. If you go in be sure you get a comp package that satisfies you going in/
