Pros

Decent place to work. Nice atmosphere of officers and people. Good benefits although the dental could be better. Lots of growth and opportunity after 6 months. Plenty of support and help from fellow officers in the field when needed.

Cons

Overnight shift could be long and boring. Required to shave facial hair loving some officers with sensitive faces scared and bruised. Unable to interact in cell devices which help done workers stay awake and alert. Pay is a little low for properties owned by the city. Constantly have to interact with the homeless on property who could be under the influence, on drugs, etc. Takes forever to get uniform, badges, and proper materials to do the job.
