Pros

Diverse areas of atmospheric science research and science support work. Very smart people, most of whom work very hard and are disciplined. The company looks out for its employees. Quality, professional HR department. The company has success delivering on its contracts and performs quality scientific research. Salaries are competitive with pretty good benefits.

Cons

The company seems to be unstable and needs more growth - or a renewed focus/plan - to continue an upward trajectory. Management was disorganized and suffered from poor or lack of communication, though employee concerns are generally taken seriously. In general, internal communication about company direction and growth is severly lacking, so it is difficult to plan for one's personal growth in the company.
