Pros

Good learning experience, the knowledge gained here help to propel me to better opportunities. I got to travel a lot, which may actually be a con for some, personally I enjoy it. As a lead there wasn't much oversight and that led to developing critical decision making skills.

Cons

We were in a bubble of sorts as the office I worked for was purchased through a corporate transaction. The on-site manager was kinda shady and did a lot unethical maneuvering to keep us off the corporate radar. Also we didn't have access to the resources that would have made our jobs easier.

Pros

The company is well positioned to capitalize on the growing global investment in telecom.

Cons

AFL senior management is working through developing and maturing it's products and services offering in the local access fiber space, and this presents some challenges at the operational level.
