      - Short-staffed in many departments, leading to most teams being overburdened (especially engineers) - Travel (requires a car to go to most client sites) - Life / work overlap

      Management is extremely strong in communication and sharp business and technical leaders. Trust their employees -- They just trust you to do your job well and people are there to help you not look over your shoulder You feel like you are making an impact on the business. And management at all levels make you feel that way and acknowledge you in that way. Culture -- A fun placed to be, hardworking and progressive company and a group that wants the business to succeed.       Pros

      AHEAD has an amazing team and an upbeat culture. I've worked across most of our service lines and have been impressed by everyone I've met. We have earned trust and collaborate closely with awesome clients and partners on interesting projects. AHEAD is doing some innovative work, especially with cloud, enterprise service management (ESM), and DevOps. Compensation and work-life balance are above average.

      Cons

      While everyone is smart and motivated, AHEAD suffers from silos like most growing consultancies. Most engineers work within a single practice and geo, so there's not enough cross-training. We still re-invent the wheel too often. The internal learning curve is higher than I've seen at other firms, but everyone is happy to help if you ask.
