Pros

After 14 years with AHF’s Public Health Division, I continue to feel inspired and challenged in my role every day. AHF is an organization that truly lives its mission—putting people first and serving those most in need. The work is never about individual accolades; it’s about making a real difference in the lives of others. I’m proud to be part of a team that’s passionate, purpose-driven, and committed to excellence. As AHF celebrates a major milestone—providing HIV care to over 2.5 million people globally—I’m reminded of the impact we can have when we work together toward a common goal. If you're looking for a place where your work matters and your growth is supported, AHF is a great place to be.

Cons

AHF is a fast-paced, mission-driven organization that demands a high level of initiative, adaptability, and creative problem-solving. It’s not the right fit for everyone. If you're not self-motivated or comfortable managing complex challenges independently, the environment may feel overwhelming. Success here requires flexibility, resilience, and a strong commitment to the mission.

Pros

The organization remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver essential products and services to more than three million patients worldwide, as well as to clients vulnerable to HIV and STIs. Despite the challenging realities of shrinking global resources and funding cuts from major international donors and developed nations, AHF continue to prioritize equitable access and uphold our responsibility to those most at risk.

Cons

While diversification of the portfolio is underway, the pace of progress must be strengthened. At the same time, the organization must remain firmly committed to honoring existing responsibilities—delivering life‑saving services and standing by clients in the fight for what is right.
