Pros

AIG has some great departments to work for. Some of the younger departments leave room for innovation and welcoming change. Benefits are good, especially with a tenure . Work from home is encouraged

Cons

Unstable employment. Very little room for growth.

Pros

You don't have to work for free

Cons

Everything. Aig is going to need another bailout soon, because it is too big to succeed. Senior management doesn't get it that their middle layers of management will put their personal performance review numbers ahead of the company EVERY time. That plus the fact none of the offshore support personnel are held accountable will strangle aig.

Pros

Flexibility with working from home and benefits are pretty much the main pros for me here. Not much else for me unfortunately.

Cons

For me, the main issue is lack of growth, or its potential or motivation on the team. Morale has never been lower; lack of real leadership on my team, lack of employee support, lack of engaging activities, lack of honesty top-down, and the extremely dull work environment.
