      -supportive team leaders are great mentors that help you navigate tutoring, parent communication, and work/life balance -good base pay. I started at $30/hour for academic tutoring -regular trainings, mentors, and support for specific departments -meaningful work -good team culture. I liked meeting new people at this company. -snacks!! -end of the year winery party

      Cons

      -took a few months to get students at the beginning -it can be difficult to have full-time work during the summer months if you're an academic tutor -admin rate for parent communication and emails, as well as other admin tasks, is only $16/hour -back when tutoring was all in-person before covid, it was inconvenient to navigate between offices. The driving time took away precious time that could have been used for tutoring students. I would have appreciated working at one office, but I understand that AJ was just trying to get me more students when I first began tutoring here, and that's why they put me in two offices
