Pros

Pay and lots of existences right out of college. That is it. Stay to get the experience then get out like all the other DMs are.

Cons

Directors call you in the middle of the night to take care of issues that are not necessary. The VP threatens all DMs job in meeting. The directors have you popcorn read in 6 hour meetings. You feel trapped with stunted growth after the first 18 months.

Pros

The company has made many changes to help them get with the times such as flexible scheduling, less strict dress code and allowing hybrid work from home options. They pay way above average.

Cons

Buying Assistant roles are a lot of work. During the interview process they will be vague with what you will do in the role. Be prepared to wear a lot of different hats and be able to multi task.

Pros

The pay was great almost $70k yearly.

Cons

Extremely biased towards promoting from within. Once you reach store management, thats your ceiling for the rest of your career. Their hiring process for district managers is very one sided. They primarily hire students straight out of NC state with little to no work experience and put them in charge of entire districts of Employees as leaders. They may consider you if you've gone to UNC or Duke or another big name school but if not those schools...Don't waste your time applying. The work/life balance is non existent because you'll only have 8-19 Employees on staff and if one (or three lol) of those people call out..Get ready for a Great week! You'll be micro manage to the bone by your DM because they will be in your store twice a week if you're doing good...more often if the store not up to par. My time spent with this company was 2 years and my job was constantly threatened at every turn.
