      Overworked and understaffed

      Pros

      Health Insurance for employees who work more than 20 hours a week.

      Cons

      Understaffed, had 3-4 employees running an entire grocery store. Stocking, ringing, cleaning everything. Only 2 employees would close down the store at night. In total I think we had about 10 full time people running a store that brought in over $30,000 in sales on a weekend. Not to mention the complete lack of references after you leave (they only will confirm that you worked there during a time frame) and it's impossible to get corporate on the phone. They also lowered the started pay from $10.80 to $10 during the 2 years I worked there. Despite making more money those years.

      Most of these glowing reviews have to be phony! Not one person I work with thinks this a great job.

      Pros

      The only thing good about this job is the pay, but look out because Wal Mart and Hobby Lobby are catching up.

      Cons

      This company will break your back as you will always work short handed with no breaks ever. There will never be more than 3 people working at a time. Aldi does not care about their people at all only the money. They will break your spirit, run away fast , it is not worth it.

      Pros

      Great benefits, but pay not enough considering everything you have to do! One person does the work of at least 2-3 people.

      Cons

      worked there for many years, started having back issues do to all of the heavy lifting and was let go for basically no reason.
