Pros

Money is higher than any other retail job I've had, and the team I work with are great. Sometimes its easy work on the tills for what you get paid.

Cons

Where do I start? The company will consistantly hire new staff and roll them out even though they are constantly telling you there are no hours at all for staff who have been there longer. Expect unreasonable pallet times which are impossible to do on your own, especially when you are expected to work back stock, check dates and 4 pallets of long life in 2 HOURS. Also even though Aldi is renowned for packing at benches, expect abuse off customers for kindly reminding them you have a till speed to maintain as they try to pack their £80 shop at the tills and shout demands for carrier bags. Not worth the anxiety and nerves before starting. I used to enjoy working here until eventually I cracked.
