Pros

Fast paced work makes the days go by very quickly. 6am early start to your shift means you also get off early, sometimes before noon if everything is done. The pay and benefits are great. I have yet to find a company that even comes close to what ALDI has to offer an hourly employee. If you like to work hard and work with others that do too, ALDI is a great job.

Cons

High turnover - Unfortunately hundreds of people apply for a job at ALDI because they think they can sit down all day at work but the job is far more demanding. Most people quit within 6 months to a year because they find out it’s much harder than they had expected.

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits. I was fortunate to have worked many years with a talented group. This position trusts leaders to make important decisions, allows autonomy and flexibility. I loved the enormous responsibility and taking part in projects that impacted the entire company.

Cons

My first 3 direct leaders were excellent. Very motivating and passionate about their jobs. They challenged me to seek continuous improvement and believed in my ability. My last direct leader drained my motivation because she didn't have the backbone to be the leader she was promoted to be.

Pros

Great Pay and Great Benefits

Cons

Say goodbye to your personal life. Store manager is the top position you can reach, they don't hire District Manager from within the company. Make sure you cover up all of your tattoos, (new rule, it was perfectly fine for the first 5 years with the company). Battling with the DM for days off on the calendar. No back to back days off allowed for managers, even if its not a weekend.
