Pros

Good Package at time of joining (need to negotiate). They are facing difficulty in finding good skilled people. Don't expect good hike every year.

Cons

Management doesn't have focus. Culture is too bad (From top to bottom, only blame game and escalation). No one is happy. 90% of people with whom i have interacted wanted to quit Alstom. They are literally trapped in Alstom since they are not able to change job in short duration of service and effect their repetition. I have stopped referring my friends after 2 months of experience in Alstom. Alstom is making huge loss with India projects. Too much of travel to remote place.

Company is getting major "Metro Projects" all over the country. Company has established world class factories at various places including Bangalore, Hyderabad and Madhepura, Bihar.

Cons

Company has just begun to extend its market in india. It will take time for the company to get established in the Indian market.

Develop your skills with new themes and projects, work is not cyclical or monotone. You can share your experience with people from other cultures and there are opportunities to emigrate to a new project.

Cons

Lack of human resources to have more balanced work between people. There is a lack of communication between the central and projects in each city. It is necessary an induction to the company since the new personnel do not know the process or people who should be addressed
