Pros

Alstom is a global player in passenger rail and signaling -- headquartered in Paris, France -- the North American region is a hotbed for growth, including high speed rail, which provides for good challenging work to be a part of the team making that happen.

Cons

Like any large, global company, Alstom struggles to balance central authority with regional autonomy, and senior management is somewhat disconnected from business operations.
