Pros

Pushing and keeping abreast of latest technology on projects based on building and delivering complex mission critical systems to Electric Utilities, Regional Transmission Organization, and Oil/Gas Industry.

Cons

Typically high percent of deliverables are from base line products. Success of project being managed (priority, schedule, resource, defects remedy from/by R&D...) is too highly dependent on priority set across all projects globally by senior management.

Pros

Large Company with many benefits and flexible with work location. Alstom Signaling has a firm footprint in Europe and growing in North America.

Cons

Alstom seems to be so focused on reporting and process that they can move towards a loss in some of their customer centricity and turning a blind eye to employees 60 hour work weeks to try to make up for the time.
