Rapidly failing company with current exodus

Pros

Salary is comparable to competitors. They have a suite of tools to promote progression and development, alas these are not used.

Cons

Awful at developing and managing people. Selectively applies policy when it suits the company. Particularly toxic culture which extends to management who are apathetic towards it at best, if not directly complicit. Annual reviews are hollow and use metrics that are specific to differing functions/roles. Some sites are completely unmanaged, it is not uncommon to not see/be able to contact my direct manager for up to 8 weeks. Planning redundancies. Acquired all of Bombardier’s issues and has not succeeded at rectifying them.

Pros

There was flexible work timings and good work-life balance earlier and the packages were also good earlier but sadly not anymore

Cons

Might be a good work environment for GETs because they have good respect, amenities and attractive salary packages. Even if there is any dissatisfaction with the management, they have an association and a representative to sort things out. However if your are a non-GET individual, then there is no proper recognition no matter how hard you work or how many years of experience you have, there is lot of politics and favouritism, getting increment/promotion is almost impossible. Day by day the work environment is hostile, some managers do not even care about the genuine concerns or well being of the employee and are quite rude which is why there is high attrition. Also, for a company that boasts on being the best in transportation field, there is no proper transportation provided to employees for office commute.

Pathetic company

Pros

You can learn lot of politics nothing else

Cons

Most of the Project managers and Program managers are very pathetic and incompetent. There is no proper work at all. Still using very old tech stacks. Few managers think that it's there personal company. There is no scope of learning new things. Company doesn't give any benefit apart from salary. If you work more than a year in this company then you will forget all the technologies and become a non tech political guy.
