Pros

Great place to work when company is doing well, pay is ok, summer flex time, good company morale, small town.

Cons

Downsize happens as rapidly as they hire. They can let 400+ people go in one day. Departments don't mesh together well. Language barrier with some other employees.

Pros

Good people, good pay, lots of room for advancement, opportunities for international travel. Opportunity to migrate to diverse positions and departments. Plenty of good technologies.

Cons

Company values bureaucrats over initiative; 'process' over effectiveness and customer concern. Company has tendency to burn people out; use them up. Struggling sites have endless OT requirements. Often doesn't allocate required staff at start of project; then once it is behind, will throw bodies at it in inefficient manner.
