Pros

Work hours are generally flexible and work/life balance is respected provided you don't take advantage and do come through when it counts for the company. They have a very broad customer base, but also very specific products which lends itself to stable income and repeat business. Other employees are generally very friendly and work together well. Pay and benefits are on par or better then other tech companies. Opportunity for travel or working in another country if you like is definitely available.

Cons

Moving up in the company can be very difficult. They often hire management positions from outside the company and do not do a very good job of cultivating current employees. You can work here for a very long time and do essentially the same thing without opportunities for advancement. There are many employees with 10-15+ year careers standing in front of you before you start. Unfortunately even being a technology company, the internal IT department does a very poor job of keeping up with current technology and often implements policies and procedures that hinder rather then empower the business. The company could also do a better job engaging with employees for moral building events.

Pros

Great products; knowledgeable industry experts; good salary and benefits; significant opportunities to have great international exposure in a true, multinational company that has expansive operations in all corners of the world.

Cons

Difficult to climb the company ladder as an American, especially on a commercial or general management track. Company has gradually been transitioning over to French, centralized management from Paris or Switzerland. Sometimes too heavy a short-term and technical focus. Takes forever to make or approve decisions. Too many corporate re-organizations.
