There is no recognition of the work done what’s so ever. The pay is so low for a London job. Management is giving so much work that you have to do overtime to finish. They would have a team of 3 doing the job of 6. The turnover is huge and I wonder if they know why: pay, working hours, pettiness on bonus, very manual, bad organisation,No flexibility, no recognition, No one to help… everyone is leaving so fast that there is no handover so management is expecting you to guess how things work.
I think Support function in general is not given enough recognition. We worked so much, we were never told thank you, we were expected to always do more. Every time there was a problem, managers would come to spit on us but when things go well, no one to say thank you.
They told me that the team is great and everyone is very closed. The office is about 50 people which is a reasonable size. You would expect the Director to know his employees and say hello once in a while. It took months for some of my colleagues to know his face since he would never come and see us (even though all of them were at the office every day).
