      Pros

      Great rank and file employees. Culture is collaborative with very smart people. Work is very interesting.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, AMD allows (and promotes) bullies at the VP level and above. While most of the executives (including the CEO) are great, some key executive roles have these toxic personalities that impact the overall culture.

      Pros

      * Hired me with no tech experience and no college education. * Allowed me the opportunity to learn many new and cutting edge tech which allowed me to advance within the team. In turn, AMD became a stepping stone to bigger and better jobs at other companies

      Cons

      * Salary was not competitive. * Expectations were unrealistic and too much "good ole boy" cronyism going on in my group. This was from the 2001-2005 timeframe and that team has all left for greener pastures.
