Pros

Leaving for good is the only pro.

Cons

Mandatory holdovers 3+ hours, this place promotes people for sexual harassment, denies other good employees transfers because they might get a pay raise. Male counterparts get paid and treated better than the females. This place is abusive, toxic, and changes peoples lives for the worse. If you work a contract here they will force you to stay after it’s up and tell you to find a new job. Low staffing, terrible pay, terrible equipment. Frequently told “don’t even think about trying to swap your broken equipment out.” No proper FIT testing. Doesn’t carry proper PPEs even when they “fit test” you for it. I have not had a P-100 that has fit in my 6 years of working here. Do not waste your time here. Go work in the hospital, fire department, or any other company that possibly values human life over profits. This place can’t even carry soap or hand sanitizer.

Pros

-Pay is good compared to what EMTs make in the rest of the country

Cons

-Management is horrible -Many employees are incredibly lazy -The ambulances are always on the brink of breaking down -You will always get held over -The turnover rate is very high. A "senior" employee is 1 year -Schedule changes every week -You do not get to practice very many skills outside of basic assessments
