Pros

A lot of overtime is offered.

Cons

A lot things are not explained during your new hire on boarding. For example; when working at a remote ALS station you are expected to clock in at that station, not at the actual main station wear 99% of the units deploy from. I was never told this, unbeknownst to me I picked up a shift from one of the remote stations during my first week. I was later reprimanded for being "late"...I went to our main station and was told I was suppose to clock in at the remote station. When I told them I was unaware and that it would never happen again. The supervisor shrugged his shoulders and asked me to sign a document saying I understood the attendance policy and a point on my attendance record was issued.
