Pros

Co-workers were ok for the most part. There was some down time and you get a chance to work with actual fire departments.

Cons

Management is sketchy and it's all about how much we can get out of the patient or their insurance. Basically how our entire healthcare system is.

Pros

Big city 911 contracts, nationwide locations, neverending job security, field crew camaraderie that only military/fire/pd/ems can understand, infinite opportunity to make differences in lives, an immense sense of accomplishment at the end of every shift, adrenaline galore

Cons

For profit company, management greed, pay sucks, for profit company, do not ever get hurt by anyone else's hands because the company will try to fire you asap (illegal), company uses evil tactics and companies to handle injuries that get you the worst care possible and delay what you really need, which makes you worse.
