Consistant scheduling, great starting salary for entry level EMTs

Cons

Wide area of service, on-duty commutes can be over an hour, often go over shift-end time.

Pros

Lifeline is a small town ambulance company that treat their employees really well. Management is great really helpful and caring.

Cons

Some of the medics are burnt out so can be difficult to work with them most of them can turn it off when they get infront of a patient, and be really nice, which is hilarious.

Good job, lots of experience

Pros

Better paying than other commercial services I've worked for, lots of 911 calls and not just transfers all day, and the people are great. I have only worked this division so I can't speak for others, but the management here is easy to work with( there is always a bad apple or two ). High call volume in a diverse demographic area.

Cons

High call volume, so as with any EMS service, it's difficult to plan after work. Hard to get a full time spot and only rare chances for advancement. The few bad apples in management. Being "part time", it's hard to get extra shifts over 24 hours anymore. Had worked 40+ hours previously (Obama Care ??).
