Remote work offers flexibility but lack of talent in senior roles and limited career growth

Pros

Remote based teams - hard to manage large teams based around the world however good for the individual - as good work life balance - no one clock watching when you start or go to lunch or how long you take.

Cons

Belfast based so salary never the same as the rest of the UK which is hard pill to swallow given we are doing the same job. Lots of ingrown managers who wouldn't cut it in another company - big personalities/ extroverts get promoted rather than those who actually know what they are doing

Pros

If you are new to HR-this could be learning opportuny-but they will try to squeeze every bit out of an employee

Cons

Employees never felt appreciated. A lot of micro management by senior management. workload is too high. unrealistic targets and goals.
