This is unfortunately one of the most unprofessional places I have worked that has so much potential. I have never seen a place go through so many good employees. Management has a God complex, don’t speak up if you don’t want backlash, they act as though they want to foster your growth in the work place, the workload they give is insane. Upper management is so out of touch with the employees. Supervisors carry their work load while upper managers acts like they did the heavy lifting. They’d rather promote employees who have been there longer rather than qualified ones. The only way to succeed is to shut up, do their work for them, and they’ll promote you when they think it’s time. Or not at all. Favoritism is seemingly the only way to get promoted there.
This place left a horrible taste in my mouth as I gave plenty of notice for my last day. My mid year review was great, as well as my annual review. I was always time efficient, trained their new employee, and completed my work. On a Monday I showed up (always early) my manager had my items from my desk in a box OUTSIDE of the building, letting me know I will not be required to work my remaining eight days. She requested my keys and parking pass. Not giving a hard working employee the respect of sitting me down in an office to let me know. She did not care the rest of the already over-worked team would now be short a person. This unprofessional act is beyond me. Working here is the last thing I recommend to anyone looking for a good banking career.
