Opportunity for growth and better pay

I'd have to say the worse thing that is very well known about Ars is that they will work you like a dog. I have been there a really long time so it doesn't really bother me as much now, but I see a lot of people come and go because of the hours. Having a family can be difficult so be forewarned. One of my biggest pet pives is the dispatch. They talk to/treat the techs like crap and think they are the tech's bosses.

Chicago branch policy needs work. During summer - policy is to focus on equipment change-outs that is what they do best. But even when their slow in the summer which happened often, they would walk away from a labor intense project, keep everyone working and help a customer because management wanted to just replace equipment.

I don't feel like there really is a downside to working for them.

The training process isn't really a training process at all they just plopped me in a home depot store and told me to go get some leads after one day of orientation. they had a supervisor watching for a little while but all he did I was give a few pointers and leave me hanging with little to any previous sales experience. They are overruled by corporate which is a bit cutthroat when you don't make them any money for even a short amount of time even when their product is off seasoned.
