Pros

Leuven office is the most "human" friendly of all ASM places

Cons

Senior management is completely detached from reality. Hustle culture, dissapointing compensation.

Pros

Salary and total compensation package in general are good. Work is genuinely interesting and challenging. Management is receptive to input. Facility is nice, there is good amount of support staff. Generally trending in the right direction.

Cons

On the job training could be improved. Work-life balance, remote work should be used more (currently only for special cases).

Pros

If you start from the very worst, it can only get better?

Cons

I highly recommend you reconsider any offer received from ASM. Firstly, their training program is absolutely abysmal. This is such a frustrating topic for new hires and it amazes ASM still hasn’t managed to figure this out. Additionally, under the new CEO, the climate has shifted to one of fear and short sighted goals. Everything has eroded to the point entire management teams are leaving, forcing the working level to constantly flex to ever changing leaders and priorities. Additionally, career advancement is virtually non-existent. Management is an expert at keeping promotions just out of reach to ensure they don’t' have to pay their workers more. WLB is non-existent; I hope you are prepared to routinely take work calls at 10PM or later. The financial outlook looks bad all around as well – bookings are down across the board and management is scrambling for ways to make this look better than the train wreck it is. I highly recommend you avoid at all costs
