Pros

Slightly better salary than average

Cons

They forgot that they grew because of TSMC's support, and their performance growth became decoupled from the growth of the company's systems and processes. Employees spend 80% of their time dealing with additional requests from their supervisors. The apparent efforts to maintain revenue growth may mask a fragile revenue structure.

High-Tech toxic pool

Pros

* Competitive Salary * Opportunity to work on cutting-edge innovation * Challenging engineering problems

Cons

* Toxic work environment - a climate of distrust has caused the employees feel the need to keep a paper trail or to have meetings recorded to protect them from unfair retaliation. Engineering meetings turn into personal confrontations rather than tackling the actual problem together. * Tenure is valued over integrity - the company is often too afraid to lose know-how even when it hurts morale. For example there is well known gender discrimination from product support management and the company would rather avoid the discussion than fire someone with a long tenure. * Burnout culture - Intense work pace even compared to other similar semiconductor companies. Everything is under constant taskforce status even if it is often artificial urgency.
