Pros

Decent pay, smart people, extra-curricular activities

Cons

work/life balance, more work than you can handle, demanding schedule, heavy emphasis on meetings, pretentious management. Management loves to judge your performance by metrics (which encourages gaming the system) but these metrics are not a fair assessment of an employees value. Every employee in my dept. can hit the metrics they establish, but unless you establish a good relationship with your manager (which is almost impossible given how poorly the company distributes people and by how many meetings you and your manager are in), its really hard to show your value outside these metrics. The work eventually becomes exhausting, repetitive, and soul sucking.

Overworked

Pros

3 weeks PTO + 2 weeks sick time.

Cons

Over worked. You try to get 1 thing done and you need 4 approvals from different departments who ignore you, yet your deadline is still the same to get the job done. Management doesn't listen nor has common sense. If you're good at kissing people's behind more than getting work done, then this is the place for you.

Pros

Very good learning and growth potential due to the fast growth of the company. Very motivated and knowledgeable colleagues from all over the world.

Cons

Can be bureaucratic at times, but if you can handle it this is very manageable. Not all people can handle the organizational changes, if you can this gives great opportunities.
