Cons
-The electrical department is micro managed and buddy practice at highest level in department. Few buddy makes the team in department !! -Sr Engineers and managers are in office for 5 hours per day and hardly anyone mentoring Jr engineers and new hire. -Many competence engineers are in department but no visibility and no clear responsibility/role of competence engineers. -Very very high turn over of engineers in wilton electrical department because managers are blind, short minded and micro managing the group. -Many bright engineers have Joined the department in last 5 years but all of them have left the company now. -Team leaders are just hired from street to just fill the position because the good team lead have just left !! -Poor quality of processes and tools, Open noisy office environment which feels like call center. -No training for new hires; No mentoring; Be ready to meet the date from first hour OR move on somewhere. -Too many contractors who are not qualified for jobs and doesn't have skill set to get job done. Burden to team !! -They are meetings and operating in buildings without properly meeting CDC guideline during corona virus epidemic. Managers don't enforces safety measures and protocols on how to keep staff safe.
