Local people are good to work with. Benefits and compensation are good.

Cons

San Diego is a small division of a very large Dutch company. Forced to follow procedures that do not make sense for a smaller company. Heavy overhead due to following large company procedures. Lots of waste and head quarters does not listen to what works for San Diego

Pros

It's fun place to work. I think Work-Life Balance is appreciated. Pay is slightly above average for entire bell-curve. The company has complete monopoly in EUV photolithography. Your job is likely secured for next 8 years unless you severly under-perform.

Cons

The company moves very slow because it is very process driven. Everyone quotes "it's not our WoW" as an excuse to not do work even if it doesn't make any sense if you really think about it.
