      A very mixed bag

      Pros

      Building satellites is cool, and there's a lot of opportunity to learn new things.

      Cons

      Most of the engineers and management live and work somewhere other than west Texas - do you blame them? Because of that, people who work there are treated like crap by the people who don't live and work there. Senior management, with a couple of exceptions, sucks up and punches down. Also, there is a subtle bias against people who speak English as their primary language.

      Overall decent place of employment. They will take care of you if you provide results.

      Cons

      Not great at balancing work and life and have unrealistic views on what certain tasks take due to management not being as involved as they should.
