Pros

Competitive compensation and benefits package. Great potential for the self-motivated. Lots of company history, and plenty of jobs to find something enjoyable.

Cons

The chain of command to the very top is short, but that's not usually the path that it takes to get things accomplished.

Great place to work, not so great for growth...

Pros

AT&T is a great place to work. The company offers competitive pay and good benefits.

Cons

It is not such a great place for growth unless you are in the corporate or southeast regional hq. Other cities don't offer as much professional mobility because the various organizations that make up AT&T act almost as completely separate entities.

Pros

- Great benefits - A decent sales rep can pull up to 60K/year at the right location (Avg 30-40K) - Opportunity for career growth - Get to play with all new devices - Service discounts

Cons

- Customer serivce expectations are flat-out insane - Has gone from a sales job to a purely customer serivce position... that pays commission. - Quotas are a bit high. - Customer satisfaction surveys will get you fired if you do not hit 100% at all times. - Employee morale is generally low - Management is generally inept
