Pros

benefits, the other employees - many of the other employees are knowledgeable and extremely helpful but hampered tremendously by way too much process that people can't operate outside of.

Cons

the percentage of projects to people is way too high - and no monitoring of the balance of number of projects per person. They should level the playing field at least quarterly.

Pros

Mobility line of buisness, still has the lingering Cingular work atmosphere. Depending on your organization, there is still good management left with the same vigor that Cinular had. Hopefully this wont change.

Cons

Current intergration of more then 3 different company systems and processes...overkill of processes. AT&T's health benefits have been reduced and personal conveniences have been slashed ie. no cups, no paper napkins, no plasticware, air conditioner temperature turned up, trash taken out once a week, reducing lighbulbs...all this does is promote low morale and less productivity.

Pros

The vacation can be good. you get 3 weeks after 7 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years, 5 weeks after 25 years. 401k is good The benefits are just average benefits, and they've gotten worse since the BellSouth/AT&T merger The tuition assistance is good and it give employees an opportunity to better themselves.

Cons

There is a real concern from my fellow coworkers regarding a lack of solid training. We are learning "on the fly" in most cases. Very frustrating. We have weak managers. The lack of managerial experience really shows when dealing with outside contractors. It's embarrasing to see. Condescending attitudes are prevalent in our department, which leads to level consciousness. Our director has never had a conversation with me, yet our old director under BellSouth called me out of the blue to see how my family was doing and how i was fitting into my position. Imagine that!
