Pros

The benefits are very good at AT&T

Cons

Too many people have been laid off - leaving alot of employees working well over 40hours per week to make up the difference

Pros

The pay, benefits and product concession packages.

Cons

There has been a significant shift by company to either outsource or off shore most IT related jobs. Also, because of slower than expected growth promotions are limited or almost non-existent.

Pros

Solid company on good financial footing. Flexible workplace environment; proper business ethics and respect for others are a cornerstone of HR policy. Good focus on Wireless, Enterprise and Global communications.

Cons

Huge bureaucracy - decisions are painfully slow, sometimes letting the competition jump ahead. Primary corporate focus is on Wireless often at the expense of other business groups. Product Management organizations are "silo-based" and under-staffed, resulting in product strategies are often disjointed, not able to meet complex customer needs. Sales and sales support teams are under-staffe and incentive pay is at the lower end of competitive scale for the industry.
