Pros

AT&T is a fantastic place to work if you are motivated solely by money. The benefits offered while I was employed there were amazing.

Cons

The customer's well being was rarely taken into account and representatives were often pressured to sell products without the customer's best interest in mind. The company is absorbed in short term profits, not long-term lasting satisfaction for their customers or their employees. We (sales representatives) were strongly encouraged to regularly work into the evenings without compensation. The overall work environment felt like a high-pressure sales day-care center.

Pros

The salary and benefits are very good.

Cons

The company has unrealistic productivity goals. There are various productivity programs such as ESM, and MSOC. Once technicians achieve production goals, the company raises them.

Pros

Having free phone service and access to pretty much any phone, including the iphone. The pay is not that bad but the commissions are declining yearly because of pay structure changes and goals. the best thing is the competitive part of the job.

Cons

Declining commissions. Fairness in promoting people. Everything seems to be done with politics and favoritism and it's not enough that you are a great worker and do your job. The goals are always sky high and very unrealistic. seems like they make it impossible to earn high commissions. Managers are not supported very well.
