Pros

Large company with good benefits

Cons

The upper management at the time decided that the company needed to become something other than what it was... they decided that the company needed to change from being a telecommunications company into a content provider and they tried to do this by acquisition of DirecTV and Time/Warner.

Pros

Had the pleasure of working alongside some very knowledgeable legacy engineers and being trained by them. Always a new challenge to get through every day.

Cons

At times, difficulties and misunderstandings to deal with when having to work with internal groups. Constant layoffs every 6 months.
