Pros

1) It provides a job 2) Was able to work in a great program with Montgomery County DHHS as a contractor

Cons

Company is poorly managed and poor business practices. On several occasions paychecks were several days late, with only an emailed apology issued. Written policies are rarely provided and instead the company wants to deal with things on individual basis for things like raises or leave accrual. The company did not distribute the cost of living increase provided to them by Montgomery County Government and apparently kept the increase as profit.

Pros

I LOVE Athena! From the very first day I have arrived for my first day of work I instantly felt at home. ATHENA has given me the experience I need in order for me to perform my job at the highest level possible. I don't even call my co-workers - co-workers! That's right, I call them FAMILY! I know for a fact that we're all here to help ATHENA grow to places we know it deserves. Melissa Pappas (ATHENA CEO) has such a caring heart and loves to make a positive difference in each and every community. Personally, she's a great inspiration to me. I'm honored and proud to be apart of such a dynamic team! If you want a career you'll love then I highly recommend a CAREER at Athena! Best.
