No Leadership Skills

so many cons! Leadership is a title only, there are no leadership skills. They use bullying tactics, intimidation, threats and sarcasm to get what they want from you. There is no consistency or reality in the directions and if you ever ask for clarity you get marked as their next target. And don't think you have support from HR because you don't. They don't care about the employees and only protect their lacking leaders. If you give examples of bullying they turn it into "the employees don't get along" and then find a way to "manage you out".

Good benefits, but not enough at this point.

Cons

Things used to be different. Management, HR, Directors or anyone doesn't care at all about you, the project, the issues no matter how much you escalate things. Leadership lacks leadership skills, I can't believe I'm saying what I'm saying but it's true. As long as they can twist anything in a way so that it looks like there's lots of progress while there's no meaningful progress is a common practice and that creates a very very very toxic environment and can occasionally contribute to your work-life balance.

- It’s an on-call role so it’s unpredictable - Constant screen time required as it’s a monitoring job. - Have to work on weekends
