AVI-SPL has been an excellent experience. The local and regional management is accessible an engaging. This company values its people as its most important asset.

Cons

Several of the smaller offices still operate as if they are still an individual small businesses instead of actually embracing the fact that they are part of a global company.

Good management that gives employees space to work effectively. Didn't care when or how you worked, as long as deadlines were met. Deadlines were not unreasonable. Provides proper tools to get the job done. Healthcare. 401k.

Cons

I struggle to think of any. 401k match was meager.

Top level relationships due to business volume / relationships. True Global footprint of company locations, not just relationships or partners. Visionary leadership in many key roles. Consistency. Culture.

Cons

A few key top level leader changes in recent years have impacted the ease of doing business. Stringent restraints around sharing projects outside of your market make quality control impossible. We are not making the identical french fry in each location and need flexibility as client demands dictate. While some incentive structures and programs can be quite rewarding, others are weakened by unrealistic goal setting and less than level recognition for work performed in select departments.
