      Pros

      There really aren't any pros any longer. There used to be some good people working there but they see the weighting on the wall and are slowly leaving to seek better employment.

      Cons

      Penny wise and dollar dumb. This company doesn't have a clue on being profitable any longer.... Very poor management the past few years. All the good people are leaving because the company is falling apart.

      Pros

      In my nearly 3 years with the company, I have had the privilege of working with many teams across our organization and am continually impressed by the drive, intelligence, respect and internal customer service that our employees demonstrate on a daily basis. There is a real sense of team at AVI-SPL in that we support one another, address each other's needs with a sense of urgency and hold each other accountable in the most positive and motivating of ways. While advancement paths may not be explicitly crafted, there is always opportunity for growth through internal networking and demonstration of hard work - you just have to take the initiative. After starting in an entry level position, I have earned 2 major promotions in my brief tenure and am excited by the promise of the future with this company. Additional Pros: Work-life balance is excellent. Flexible & employee-centric. Employee morale programs and events are fun and engaging

      Challenges: Compensation is not quite competitive with the market Transparency of executive communication has been sub-par in the last 12 months but is improving

      Pros

      No one manages you, most employees work from home, coworkers are nice, very challenged environment , time off policy is good,

      Cons

      Every division has their own priorities and they clash with other divisions, good-olé boy leadership, poor process, disorganized, talentless organization. Raises are based on favoritism not goals. Somewhere along the way, they lost marty's vision. Sad, dire company. I'd be surprised if they are still around in 5 years.
