      No Sick time, mandatory unpaid OT for salary workers, no bonuses, poor internal communication

      There is opportunity for improvement if management decides to restructure.

      Never delete an email, people will throw you under the bus without a second thought.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your perspective of your time with us. You have raised a lot of concerns, and while we don't know your specific experience, we do want to comment on what we can. First, we do offer sick time via a combined sick/vacation PTO bank. Second, due to DOL requirements, salary team members are exempt from overtime, but it is standard to include consideration for overtime work when the compensation analysis is done. Not everyone at the company is eligible for a bonus, but that is pretty common in most organizations. But we do offer bonuses for various roles. Lastly, we are striving to get better with our internal communication through more frequent local town halls, our company intranet, organization-wide emails and our most current efforts towards more frequent and impactful interactions between team members and their direct supervisor. We are sorry that your experience wasn't everything it could have been and wish you much success in your future endeavors.

      Pros

      Great atmosphere, promote from within company, we have some of the very best AV talent under one roof. Period! I have been with AVISPL 4 years now, i have received multiple promotions. I plan on continuing my career here for years to come. Best employer I have ever had.

      Cons

      Health insurance seems to get more expensive each year and covers less.

      Pros

      Innovative company that's continuing to grow. Management truly cares about employees both personally and professionally. Here in Dallas, all employee divisions (onsite techs, engineers, management, sales) are in it together and work for each other - no silos or in-fighting here, which is so refreshing. Great opportunities and clear path for advancement throughout all job tracks. And by the way, we're the best in the business and work with the largest clients/projects in the business and highest customer satisfaction in the business. Pretty great place to be!

      Cons

      Big company with some policies that other smaller integrators may not have, but it's a good thing.
