• Great entry level job in the AV industry • Able to advance pretty easily • Dynamic work environment • Hands on AV work and learning

Cons

• Exclusively annual raises, even in inflated markets • Seasonal work, so there are weeks with 0 work and weeks with 20 hours overtime • Health insurance is very expensive for families • Low PTO (3.33 every pay period) • Very low company matching for 401k • Not a very streamlined onboarding process • Event industry is a little less than stable for job security

decent PTO accrual, benefits for full time employees, holidays off (if no events), online training offered

Cons

many slow days, but when you work—you will be put to WORK. expect some 12hr days, working more than 6+ days a week during busy season your work-life balance will only be prioritized if management favors you compensation for travel exists, but expense reports are poorly structured and rarely get to you in a timely manner Lots of politics in regards to management
