Pros

- Ideas are generally listened to, but very little help is given with them. - I was in management, but the techs seemed to usually get their hours. - Generally speaking, most people in the company are not that bad to work with. - The area I worked in had mostly relaxed clients that were pretty easy to work with. - The modern equipment is nice, and it was very helpful to have a technically sound person in my area dedicated to handling the logistics until he left. - Very flexible with time off.

Cons

- Completely unorganized with not a lot of structure. - Company has employees (the techs specifically) breaking safety rules and doesn't seem to want to do anything about it. - CEO has his hands on everything and you can't do anything without his approval; what's the point of the RVP? - Upper management doesn't follow their own rules. - Position titles are all over the place. The same position can have over 3 different titles within the company. This makes things confusing as to finding the person you need to talk to. - Zero incentives. No reward system for employees to go above and beyond which is why most lower level employees don't really care and are constantly looking for better work. - This company probably has one of the lowest pay rates for AV companies in the Bay Area especially if your position doesn't make commission on anything. - Benefits are terrible. Cigna is probably one of the worst providers for healthcare, you're almost better off getting coverage from the government. - Severely understaffed. Can't get the labor sometimes even though you've requested it weeks in advance. Get ready to put in a lot of hours. - A lot of politics in management; very much like high school cliques but worst.
