Competent leadership. Lots of interesting problems to work on. A diverse crowd of smart people.

Cons

Amazon's work culture is mercenary and heartless. I was successful there, but saw that it could be pretty tough on anyone who struggled. The way that we rated and ranked people without regard for events in their personal lives was pretty hard to be a part of.

In aws proserve you get to learn a lot, much more than what your immediate role requires

Cons

You need to spend alot of time after work hours with tasks such as blog posts writing/review, monthly mandatory training, mandatory certifications, it sounds like a good thing, but unfortunately you don’t get enough time to do that during your 9-5 hours and must catch up after hours
