Pros

Flexible working time, home office, excellent work place in a great neiborhood

Cons

Bad management decisions are forcing talented employees to leave and are keeping the most negative, uneducated ones. Promotions are mostly tied to being "friend" of the boss, otherwise the is no really a career path.

Pros

Great Energy, rewarding, hard work but you have the tools to be successful. Its not for everyone, it takes motivation, drive and the hunger to one day be your own boss and afford those things you may not be able to in a 9 to 5 job.

Cons

It is hard work, long hours starting out, you sometimes have to work a Saturday and there is always something new to learn because the financial industry changes.
