Pros

Pay is great as you move up. Share plan investing is good. People are friendly.

Cons

Overworked employees, many managers are not qualified for leading. Never enough people to do the jobs, initiatives with no plans, and poor leaders who are highly compensated. Lots of politics and stress. Reputation for layoffs regularly due to poor U.S. Sales. Brand is not recognizable and finances always bolstered by their French parent company to stay afloat.

Acquired by Axa

Pros

Working at a unit recently acquired by AXA. Pros: Good salary and fair increases (before the acquisition by AXA). Remains to be seen what happens next years. Market leader and looking to expand.

Cons

All decisions made in France and by the French employees. Little or no mercy for employees in acquired businesses/abroad. Whole management layer replaced by French, despite knowing little or nothing about the business/IT systems/clients they need to manage.
