Pros
Interesting products to work on; Many (but not all) managers are fairly competent; Peers are friendly and get along reasonably well; Security of being part of a large parent company (Abbott).
Cons
More bureaucracy than I would have liked, both because it is FDA regulated, and because it is a large, old-school company. Most positions tend to be fairly limited in breadth, which doesn't give as much opportunity to expand beyond your narrow field.
