* Really not great pay, especially in these trying economic times. They haven't had even inflationary raises in the past few years, so essentially I felt like I was just getting less money with time. * Nearly all the appealing benefits disappeared (urban sports, headspace, a Push device etc). It felt like a big bummer to be told I'd receive these things and it was never followed through with due to lack of funds * Career progression felt difficult and vague, gaining responsibility and independence was a challenge due to niche/legacy nature of the technology

Salary was below the market rate. Sometimes a lack of clear guidance from people higher in product led to a lot of going in circles in meetings. A dev process overly burdened by red tape, code ownership, and knowledge silos.
